Meet Ms. Montana!

Welcome! - Updated 05/10/13

Welcome to The Peter Emily International Veterinary Dental Foundation (PEIVDF).

The mission of PEIVDF is to provide advanced veterinary dental services for the benefit of captive exotic animals located in facilities in the US and abroad through an increase in the provision of advanced veterinary dental services and veterinary dental education.

PEIVDF began conducting Missions in October 2008, first as a private foundation, now as a public 501(c)(3) charity. In just over 3 1/2 years, our small charity has:

This may seem like a lot of animals and a lot of procedures, but remember, there are more than 600 exotic animal sanctuaries and more than 200 zoos and aquariums in the US and Canada alone. That leaves a LOT of animals in need of dental work! Please help us continue our work by DONATING today!

Need to be convinced about how important dental care is to these animals? Click HERE to read this posting on the Wild Animal Sanctuary's site, reporting how much ColoColo's demeanor and energy level have improved since his root canal.

PEIVDF provides their expert services - and the supplies required in the provision of these service - directly to the animals. That way, PEIVDF's efforts directly benefit each animal on which we work. Facilities as a whole do not receive direct monetary benefit from the provision of PEIVDF services.
