RESCUE OP TRAVEL PROGRAM
PEIVDF will be opening select Rescue Operations to limited tourist spots. For a fee plus self-paid travel expenses, people will be able to join PEIVDF and its clinicians and students on rescue operations to see firsthand the work PEIVDF is doing in the field.
Not for the squeamish or faint of heart, as often operations - as expected in medicine - can seem a little "gory" to the uninitiated.
See for yourself the amazing work being done by the volunteers and staff at the remarkable sanctuaries, shelters, and zoos we help. Who knows? You may even get up close and personal with a baby tiger! Oh, how jealous your friends will be!
In exchange for your generous donation*, you will receive:
- a PEIVDF logo polo shirt
- a CD of photos taken during the Rescue Op
- your name listed as a sponsor on the Rescue Op page
If you are 21 or older, and are interested in attending a selected Rescue Op as a tourist in the not-too-distant future, please email us back at rescueops@peteremilyfoundation.org and we'll put you on the mailing list as soon as this program begins.
